Web-Based Arsenic Decision Tree Tool
Denver, Colorado, USA
The American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AwwaRF) wanted to assist its subscribers as they considered new arsenic treatment options to comply with updated regulations.
AwwaRF worked with Malcolm Pirnie to develop a Web-based, arsenic-decision-tree tool to assist utilities in indentifying feasible and promising treatment technologies. The decision tree guides water utilities through a comprehensive evaluation of available treatment technologies, residual handling and disposal alternatives, operational issues and site-specific preferences for the utility.
